投稿给一个ssci的期刊，编辑回信如下，请大家帮忙看看能否按照他的意见改了再投给这个杂志呢？谢谢！ Thank you for your recent submission to ****. Although the editors think the paper addresses a potentially interesting topic they have concerns about some aspects of the paper. As a result, I am sorry to inform you that we will not be sending your paper to reviewers. This article on***is on a potentially interesting topic for the journal but fails to engage with the rich existing literature on this topic in order to provide a contribution to contemporary regional studies. As it stands, it is primarily a case study application of existing approaches to understanding specialization, which unfortunately does not make a significantly new contribution to the field and does not go far enough to place its findings within the wider context of research on this topic. I realise this will be a disappointing decision but please understand that there is huge pressure for space in the journal and we are forced to be extremely selective in what we can publish. Thank you for giving *** the opportunity to read about your research and we hope you will be successful in seeking an alternative outlet. |
