The content of arsenic in the oil produced from some oil field in China was relatively high, which greatly weaken the reactivity and longevity of the reforming catalysts as well as the catalysts for olefin polymerization. Therefore, dearsenication became a vital procedure during the oil refining and petrochemical industry. Hence we developed a new kind of catalyst C-98, which had passed the small test appraisal and industrialization appraisal organized by the science and technology development department of Sinopec. This catalyst had been patented with ID: 99113801.5. The real application of this catalyst in the large scale domestic PP installations showed that this C-98 catalyst was as prominent as the same kind of catalyst in this world. Comparison with imported catalyst The comparison of this catalyst with the same kind of imported catalyst indicated that this catalyst was equal to or superior to the imported catalyst in some main technical item. Arsenic content in oil produced by some oilfield has great impact on the activity and use life of the reforming catalysts and olefin polymerization catalysts. Arsenic removal has become an indispensable process of petroleum refining and chemical production. For that reason, we have studied and developed catalyst C-98. This catalyst has passed the identification of technical trial and industrialized application by Science and Technology Development agency of China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation(Sinopec). This catalyst has applied patent of which its number is 99113801.5. It is evidented by large-scale polypropylene plant in China that the nature of catalyst C-98 performed as well as those catalysts of international advanced level. Compared with foreign products: Compared with foreign similar catalysts experiments, it showed that catalyst C-98 has reached, even overweight the main technical index of foreign similar arsenic removal catalyst. |
