有没有申请斯旺西大学的？导师回复求助。 已有1人参与

申请文科PhD，斯旺西大学的professor，方向很一致，是系里的chair。套磁第二天回复的，看起来有戏。 今天早上收到的邮件，我已经回复了，也询问了奖学金情况，暂时还没收到回复，等待中。先来论坛里咨询一下各位： 1. . 看他这种描述，系里出全奖几率大么？ 2. 他提到还有两个new MA graduates from China也要来学习，应该不会我们三个都会录取吧，是不是意味着我们之间有竞争、是择优录取的？ 有没有大神来解读一下呢？ 有没有人申请了斯旺西，也一起交流下啊。 Dear Ms xx, Thank you for your email and attachments, which I have read with great interest. Your research proposal is well articulated and promises to produce important results, and you seem well equipped to carry it out. We would therefore be happy in principle to supervise your PhD at Swansea University, subject to seeing a full application from you in due course. I am currently co-supervising two PhD students working on various aspects of the xx, so your work would fit nicely into an existing research cluster, and we also have two new MA graduates from China about to start work on slightly different projects. We would therefore encourage you to submit an application, with every expectation of its being successful.
