Abstract: In this paper, a two-term Fletcher-Reeves conjugate gradient method is proposed for monotone constrained equations, which combines a recently modified Fletcher- Reeves (FR) conjugate gradient method and the famous projection method. A prominent character of the method is that it is globally convergent without requiring the restart procedure, which maybe enhance its efficiency. The numerical results reported in this paper illustrate that the proposed method is efficient for compressive sensing. © 2015 ICIC International.
