The results show that under the existing practrical formula and curing conditions, NR faceblank offers tensile strength of 22.0MPa and tear force of 41.3KN∙m-1, higher than those offered by CIIR faceblank which are 13.2MPa and 35.5KN∙m-1, the mechanical superiority of NR faceblank is mainly derived from the strain-induced cyrstallization. Resiliences of NR and CIIR faceblanks are 60% and 16%, and diffusion coefficients of sulphur mustard in the two faceblanks are 2.10¡Á10-11m2/s and 6.85¡Á10-13m2/s, respectively. Low resilience and excellent barrier property of CIIR faceblank are due to the dense side methyl groups in the predominant isobutylene units. The Tg values for the NR and CIIR faceblank are -55oC and-36oC, suggesting the NR faceblank having a fairly good performance than the CIIR faceblank in cold weather. The weak chain segment motion ability originated from great internal friction is responsible for the high Tg value for CIIR faceblank.

±íÕ÷µÄÊÖ¶ÎÒѾ­¹ýÈ¥ÁË£¬ÓÃÒ»°ã¹ýȥʱ¡£¶øÊµÑé½á¹ûÓÃÒ»°ãÏÖÔÚʱ̬¡£ÎÒɾµôÁËһЩ¶àÓàµÄ¶«Î÷£¬ËùÒÔÕû¾ä»°Ó¦¸ÃÕâÑùÀ´·­Òë¡£
Abstract: In this paper, the properties of two face-pieces materials for respirators were respectively characterized (ÄãµÄÕâ¾ä»°Ö»½²ÁËÒ»°ë£¬ËùÒÔÕâÀïÔÙ¼ÓÉÏÒ»¾ä£¬±»Ê²Ã´ÒÇÆ÷¡¢Ê²Ã´¼ì²âÊֶλòÕßʲô·½·¨Ëù±íÕ÷). Results show that the tensile and tearing strength of NR respirators are 22.0 MPa and 41.3 KN∙m-1 independently under the currently production condition, which is better than that of CIIR respirators because of the strain induced crystallization. Due to the congested methyl on the link of isobutene, the rebound ratio and diffusion coefficient of the CIIR is lower than that of the NR. Importantly, the Tg of the NR is lower to -55oC than that of the CIIR (-36oC), which indicates that NR face-pieces materials has an excellent performance in lower temperature. Moreover, the motion ability of molecular chain is weakened by large wastage of internal friction, which is major cause for high Tg value of CIIR respirators.
