it's very normal，But when you tell youself that your English is much better than foreigner's Chinese，you maybe will feel more better，try you best to speak English

I encounter the same problem as you.Now I work as an intern in a foreign company whose formal language is English.Not only the commucation on the internet is English,but also some colleegues are foreigners.I can understan some written English,like most of Chinese.However ,I am not barve enough to speak to our foreign collegues.It disturbs me a lot and makes embrassed when encounter them.How could I speak English flutently.

What do you mean by "speak English fluently" ?

English Level-4 and Level-6 Exam's focus on common everyday English, not technical communication in English

Well, that would require his patience of slow speaking with explaining and your time to get used to it. Hearing is indeed a big problem to us. What about english TVs with English subtitles.
