[交流] 外导说会要我,可是还是给我推荐别的老师,很纠结

前几天一联系日本的教授,跟我做的方向不一致,我现在计算他是合成,说我以后会难,我表了决心后他同意,然后要了我summary和statement of purpose,今天回复说会offer you a room。 但是又推荐我另一个老师,这个老师确实比他厉害,跟我现在方向也更接近点。现在很动摇。日本的学校还有入学考试,不知道能不能过,而且我英语成绩还不够,还在考。还有奖学金的问题我俩也都没提过。据说合成入门确实挺难的,不过我要是再让他推荐给另一个老师的话,又感觉很尴尬,他的态度真是太warm了,不知道怎么说。
I find that you are very good at physical organic chemistry, especially theoretical aspects. It appears that you are interested in electron transfer reactions between pi-skeletons and I can offer you some small model compounds to investigate the reactions experimentally. However, as I mentioned you before, it takes a long time to synthesize such compounds. I am a synthetic organic chemist, and therefore, compounds that are prepared in my group are completely new & unknown ones. If you really want to challenge synthetic works, that are tough tasks, then I can offer you a room in my group.
If you are more interested in measuring phenomena of electron transfers by spectroscopic instruments, then I can introduce you to Prof. Majima, who is my collaborator and working in Osaka University. He is a very famous professor in the research field of electron transfer reactions. The method he uses is very unique, "pulse radiolysis", that can generate positive or negative charge in compounds.

真心奉劝现在大二大三和研一研二的学弟学妹,英语一定要早考啊,现在让英语搞的好烦,搞不好就只能延迟出去了
