如果图一的纵坐标是behavior of volume ratio of gold，横坐标是pressure，那么可以这样说。即便纵坐标是 volume ratio of gold也可以，因为所谓的behavior 就是这个比值的变化。

如果你中文中最后没有“关系”二字，我也会用类似说法：
Figure 1 shows the alterations in the ratio of the volume of gold with the changes in pressure given by Eq (1).
