Analytical methods suitable for oxidized lipids were often reviewed in the last decade, but mostly from the aspect of determination of individual oxidized lipid classes, such as peroxides, aldehydes, polar lipids, or polymers. In this book, they are treated from the standpoint of types of analytical methods used, including different volumetric methods, UV-visible spectrometric methods, high performance size-exclusion chromatography, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, electron spin resonance spectroscopy, and differential scanning calorimetry.
