[交流] 文章过长投PRL被拒，请问申述有用吗？

理论分析文章投PRL，没进行技术审稿直接被拒。拒绝信先是套话，最后说文章也超过长度了。其实缩短文章长度很容易，只要把部分内容放到补充材料里就行了。
不知有无必要申述，请各位赐教。

人家已经写得很清楚了，就是你的文章创新不够，不适合该杂志。指出文章过长只是顺便。
换杂志吧，别纠结了。

P.S. In addition, the manuscript is much (~40%) too long for a Letter.
A materials science journal might be appropriate.
