德国哈雷大学博士生招生

A PhD position is now open in the group of Prof. Miguel Marques at the Institute of Physics of the Martin-Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. The topic is related to the first-principles inversion of the electronic-structure problem, i.e., how to obtain the material that possesses a desired electronic structure. The tools used for this problem include density functional theory and global structural prediction methods, namely the minima hopping method. Interested applicants should send an application letter (explicitly mentioning the Reg.-Nr.: 5-7883/15-D), a CV, a motivation letter, and two references to miguel.marques@physik.uni-halle.de.
