感兴趣的也可以咨询我,qian.gou@cqu.edu.cn ++++++++++ PREDOCTORAL AND POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS AT THE SPECTROSCPY GROUP AT THE UNIVERSITY OF THE BASQUE COUNTRY (UPV/EHU), SPAIN Predoctoral and postdoctoral positions are available within the project STUDY OF BIOLOGICAL AND ATMOSPHERIC SYSTEMS BY LASER AND MICROWAVE HIGH RESOLUTION SPECTROSCOPIES Project 1: Characterization of biological molecules by microwave spectroscopy coupled with an ultrafast laser vaporization system The objective of the project will focus on biological molecules which have a variety of shapes, sizes and functional groups that determine their function in nature. Understanding the relationship between structure and function is one of the main goals of modern chemistry. Project 2: Laboratory characterization of molecules of astrophysical interest for radioastronomy observations About 150 molecules have been detected in the interstellar medium, these radioastronomy observations are performed through their spectral lines, which must be characterized in the laboratory. We offer: A training in advanced high-resolution spectroscopic techniques in one of the best equipped laboratories in Europe. The students will have the possibility to get an international Ph. D. held in a multidisciplinary environment with the participation of several international groups, which offer the possibility of stays-collaborations abroad. Some set-ups at the UPV/EHU Basic requirements of the positions: • The candidate must have a bachelor degree (predoctoral) or Ph. D. D. in Physical Chemistry in 2005 at the University of Valladolid (Spain), under the supervision of Professors Alberto Lesarri and José L. Alonso. In 2008, his thesis work, based on the study of the structure of amino acids by microwave spectroscopy, was recognized with a University prize to best Ph. D. doctoral work conducted at the University of Valladolid. In 2006 he moved to Oxford University and worked with Professor John P. Simons, to join the internationally leading research group studying carbohydrates in the gas phase. In January 2009 he joined the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), where he leads research focused on solving various structural problems of chemistry at the molecular level, in particular, the study of biomolecules, including sugars, peptides and drugs, generated and stabilized in the gas phase. In spite of his youth (37 years) the tutor, Dr. Cocinero, has published a book chapter and over 80 papers (> 50 papers in the last five years) including 1 Nature, 10 Angewandte, 8 JACS, 1 Chem. Sci. and 1 Astrophys. J. and his work has been recognized with the Flygare Award Lecture (2015) to the best young spectroscopist at international level, the SIGMA-ALDRICH Award from the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (2012) to the best scientific career of a Spanish young researcher. The SusChem society has also prized him with the POSTDOC SusChem Prize to the best scientific publication in 2011 conducted by a Spanish young researcher in any area of Chemistry. Recently, he has been elected President of Young Chemist Researchers (JIQ) of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry. Some selected publications: Nature, 469, 76-80 (2011). Angew. Chem. Int.
