| Figure 4 shows the relationship between the transmitted light intensity of Hf:Yb:Ho:LiNbO3 crystals and the exposure times. Light-induced scattering intensity (Is) is the difference between IT0 and ITt (Is = IT0-ITt), where IT0 and ITt are the transmitted light intensities of incident lights at the start (0) and the specific time (t), respectively. The ratio (Rs) of the scattered light intensity to incident light intensity is used to describe the light-induced scattering intensity of the codoped LiNbO3 crystals. The relationship between the square root of scattering ratio and the exposure time is shown in Figure 5. |
