事情是这样的，本人大三小本化学在读，几天前开始套磁英国的教授，前天收到了一位杜伦大学老师的回复如下： Dear Yu Thank you for your email. I would be happy to have you join my group. It seems as though you have all the right experience to make a successful student. In order to join, the university requires that you fill in a formal application form. Details and the forms can be found at https://www.dur.ac.uk/chemistry/postgraduate/how_to_apply/ if you make sure you put my name on the form for the research group / area then I will make sure that is processed rapidly. I look forward to receiving your application form and welcoming you to my group. As an aside I have another Chinese student joining the group (Tianren Xie) in October and he knows Durham very well so you should be able to settle in very quickly.
