[交流] 第一封陶瓷信，求鉴定有何不妥~~ 已有7人参与

Dear Prof. XX,

My name is XX and I am a 1st year Ph. D. candidate of Aircraft Control and Dynamics from XX University, P. R. China. I write this email to inquire the possibility in doing research as a Ph.D. student in your group.

The attached CV shows how the national and international aeromodelling competitions have provided me with rich experience in UAV design and production and strong sense of teamwork.
Coupled with these work placements, several curriculum designs have equipped me with expertise in aircraft design and micro controller application. I have developed a strong interest in
unmanned rotorcraft navigation and control through these experiences. I read several of your papers and one of my seniors, a graduate student in NUS, suggested that I can approach you for continuing my studies.

Please let me know if there is a possible opening for a graduate student in the upcoming spring or fall terms. My grades are good; The overall and major GPA for my undergraduate are 3.60 and 3.67 respectively. In the past year, I have just got requested credits for Ph.D. and the grades are perfect. In particular, I took several elective courses on control theory (e.g. optimal control, intelligent control, etc.) which I am very interested in. I would like to join your research group, because my research background matches your research topics very well and I am quite interested in working with you world leading scientists.

I am available to discuss this possibility further, and I look forward to hearing from you.
