The results showed that this compound (DHT) had certain inhibition effect on vitro proliferation of human cervical carcinoma HeLa cell and liver cancer SMMC-7721 cell.
Chemical components of pecan epicarp were separated and purified to obtain DHT based on Deling WU's study of using silica gel column chromatography and Sephadex LH-20, and the antineoplastic activity of separated DHT was investigated through MTT method, and it indicated that DHT has some antineoplastic activity.
