In contrast to shake flask experiment, the output of 1,3-PDO in batch fermentation process by using crude glycerine was lower than using pure glycerin,  the possible reason was that, in the process of adding  crude glycerine continuously, the  harmful impurities in crude glycerine were continuously cumulated,and the damage to strains was increased
simultaneously, which finally affected the  the output of 1,3-PDO. Meanwhile, the oxygen transfer was also affected by  the increasing of
lipids in crude glycerine with the constantly addition of crude glycerine, which affected the  the output of 1,3-PDO in another field.
