[求助] 请帮忙看看第二句的语法 已有2人参与

The old man was thin and gaunt with deep wrinkles in the back of his neck. The borwn blotches of the benevolent skin cancer the sun brings from its reflection on the tropic sea were on his cheeks.
第二句不懂啊，请帮忙分析下句子语法结构，双主语？省略了代词？谢谢。
