[求助]请问有谁成功的用DMol3模块的TS-Opt优化周期性体系的过渡态？

用LST/QST方法找到过渡态，计算完频率后，所得到的振动分析中的频率对于周期性的体系全部为0，而非周期性的体系则有具体的强度。不知道这是为什么？ 用对应于反应坐标的振动模式（虚频，强度为0）来优化过渡态，一直无法收敛，请问以前有谁碰到这个问题吗？谢谢！ |

Accelrys公司给的答复，与大家一起学习 On the intensity, what you observed is expected. The reason can be traced back on how DMol3 calculates the vibrational frequencies - the finite-displacement approach. While the approach captures all the vibration modes in molecular systems (hence the intensities derived), it'll only be capable of calculating a (small) portion of essentially a continuum of vibration modes of the infinite system (of a crystal). One will need to resort to a method (such as PDFT in CASTEP) that's capable of calculating phonon frequencies (vibration in solids) in order to derive vibrational intensities. |
