The high-resolution spectra of C1s and O1s of the PHBV, PHBV-NH2, PHBV-PEGMAL, and PHBV-RGD films are shown in Figures 1 and 2, respectively. Table 2 summarizes the experimental XPS binding energies of the deconvoluted detailed C1s and O1s spectra from the different surfaces together with the proposed assignments to chemical bonds/oxidation states based on observed chemical shifts. From Figure 1a, it can be seen that on the unmodified PHBV surface there are four peaks fitted to theC1s spectrum.The peaks at the binding energy of 285, 285.6, 286.9, and 289.2 eVare assigned to the components of C-C, C*-C(dO)-O, CH3-C*(-C)-O,and O-CdO, respectively |
