Sintering is a process in which fine particles in contact with each other form necks and bond together. An elevated temperature is necessary for sintering so that the atoms become sufficiently mobile to migrate. The required sintering temperature is often much lower than the melting temperature of the powder material. Sintering is perhaps the only economical route to produce ceramic consumer products and advanced components on an industrial scale. 【翻译】烧结是细小颗粒相互接触形成烧结颈并黏合在一起的过程。在高温下烧结能够使原子迁移，所需烧结温度通常远低于粉体材料的熔点。烧结或许是工业尺度上生产陶瓷消耗品和先进组件的唯一经济路径。 |

从我这外行的角度看，翻译的很好。对我来说，我可能没有能力把中间这句话总结成为你的翻译：An elevated temperature is necessary for sintering so that the atoms become sufficiently mobile to migrate (在高温下烧结能够使原子迁移) 我大概只能翻译成： 烧结需要高温（烧结需要升高温度），以使原子活动度足够大（原子变为足够活动）从而（可以）迁移。 我知道我这个完全忠实于原文，但有些啰嗦。这大概就是专业上的欠缺吧。 |
