In addition, the ethyl alcohol can make a more orderly water molecule structure which will affect various properties of the solute. With slight heating, DMF will give out a small amount of dimethylamine, which will make the ligand to lose proton, leading a possibility of metal clusters. Moreover, the DMF structure is similar to peptide structure, therefore the DMF can serve as the model environment for H2atibdc ligand with the presence of -CH3. Water can infiltrate into the molecule from outside. |
