Original Poem: <I Wrote this FOR U>

This the following is the poem I wrote upon college gradation in fall of 2009, for my (ex) girlfriend, now almost strangers we've become... <I Wrote This for You> Be strong, for by the next instance I’ll be gone. Don’t cry, for when I spot your tears, my soul could not bear the thoughts of no longer being near. Stay cheerful, for all the memories we have would bridge the distances with a rainbow. Don’t sigh, for when I hear your voice, my heart would not beat for fear of leaving you ever since. I knew, form the first time I met you, that you would be mine I said, not a single word when you asked me what my dream was, for you were it I promised, not a thing of future, for I knew somehow this very day would eventually come I wrote, millions of endless thoughts into this very short piece, to let you know how profound my feelings for thee… Just remember the good old days we share, for that’s the best gift I could ever give you, Just smile when a soothing breeze teases your hair, that is me thinking of you is being fulfilled . Just remember the lessons I always pretend to teach, for each time I’ve learned so much from you as well, Just smile when the thought of my absence strikes you, that is me reminding you that the dream of your own is still to pursue.
