| Chitosan is the only kind of naturally occurring basic polysaccharide which has been discovered by hunman so far. Its structure inludes the basic unit of chitosan and biodegradable ethyl phthalein glucosamine unit. So chitosan has chelation on metal ions especially some transition metal ions. Chitosan has extensive sources and good solubility. |
