[求助] 下面是审稿人的意见,有两个短句的意思不确定,望大家帮帮忙!重点是后面1个 已有2人参与

The characterization and interpretation of the fouling of the AEM membranes needs further data (e.g. Raman or IR molecular analysis) and re interpretation of the data as clear precipitation is observed in 2 of the cells used in this work but the authors do not acknowledge this and only list one as having precipitation of Cu oxy-hydroxides. The authors near the end of their discussion assume not only that the Cu is only in a hydroxide form based on elemental analysis which cannot distinguish between CuO and CuOH2 but this is not possible via elemental analysis only molecular analysis. The authors state that based on the SEM images, that used AEM’s a2 had no fouling or precipitation but a3 clearly did have precipitation. From the SEM images and data in Table 7 it is clear that although the AEM a2 cell does not have as much precipitation as the a3 cell, it does have some precipitation but is not as significant. Again molecular analysis of your membrane may be of use if available but based on the data, the interpretation of the fouling of the AEM’s as well as the characterization of the precipitates is insufficient for now and required revision.

我不明白是说我可以补IR的数据,还是说我可以直接把元素分析也一起重新做一下实验

第二句是说,如果你有IR的相关数据可以补上,这些数据可能有用,但根据你的数据(其他数据),你现在对AEM fouling和沉淀(析出)物表征的解释是不充分的,需要重新予以解释和讨论(后半部分是重点和实质)。
