This article added the modified SiO2 powder and the prepared methyl silicone microspheres to the coat, and analyzes the variation of the pattern of the coat and the hydrophobe by using the electro-scanning microscopy and the contact-angle PCR. Investigate the hydrophobic property impact by hydrophobe in different ground-coat, the results showed that add the modified SiO2 and the methyl silicone microspheres in coat, and because of increased the roughness of the coat surface, enhanced the hydrophobic of coat. As the base material is the silicone-acrylic latex, the contact angle between the coat and the water are 114.87˚ and 106.12˚; As the base material is styrene-acrylic emulsion, the contact angle between the coat and the water are 110.92 ˚ and 106.18 ˚; As the base material is Hydrogen silicone oil, the contact angle between the coat and the water are 124.28 ˚ and 130.39 ˚. The hydrophobic added hydrophobe mixture in the coat is stronger than in single hydrophobe, the contact angle of water is 117.02˚ in the coat of silicone-acrylic, and 115.53˚ in the coat of styrene-acrylic, when in the oil of hydrogen Silicon coat, the circles structure conjunct in micron and millimicron are formed, obviously improved the hydrophobe, the contact angle of water is 137.6˚.

In this paper, we added the modified SiO2 particles and prepared methyl silicone resin microspheres into the coatings. The morphology of the coatings was studied by SEM, while the hydrophobic variation was measured by a contact angle instrument. The influence of hydrophobe in different coating base materials on hydrophobicity was also investigated. The results showed that the hydrophobicity of the coatings was elevated by the improved roughness after the adding of the modified SiO2 and prepared methyl silicone resin microspheres into the coatings. When silicone/acrylic latex was used as base material, the contact angles of the coatings to water were 114.87˚ and 106.12˚ separately; while for styrene/acrylic latex, that angles were 110.92˚ and 106.18˚ separately; and when the base material was changed to hydrogen silicone fluid, that angles were 124.28˚ and 130.39˚separately. The combination of hydrophobe had a stronger (better Ó¦¸ÃÒ²¿ÉÒÔ) hydrophobicity than single hydrophobe. In the silicone/acrylic coatings, the water contact angle was 117.02˚; while in the styrene/acrylic coatings, that angle was 115.53˚; and in the coatings which hydrogen silicone fluid was used, the hydrophobicity was highly improved due to the layered structure of micro-nano combined phases, and the water angle was 137.6˚.
