我做的是筛选农药(propyzamine一种除草剂)降解菌,我只找到了一个中间产物(3,5- Dichlorobenzoic acid )但是没有找到接着的产物也没说3,5- Dichlorobenzoic acid 的浓度的变化,审稿人让测量3,5- Dichlorobenzoic acid 的浓度的变化和氯离子的积累量,我不知道氯离子的怎么测?
The authors identified 3,5- Dichlorobenzoic acid as an intermediate. It is very strange that the authors did not detect chlorocatechol, which is the major metabolite of DCBA.
As an example of major methabolits see Hartmann et al. (Hartmann, J., Reineke, W., & Knackmuss, H. J. (1979). Metabolism of 3-chloro-, 4-chloro-, and 3, 5-dichlorobenzoate by a pseudomonad. Applied and environmental microbiology, 37(3), 421-428).
To prove that the isolated strain utilized propyzamine as the sole carbon source the dynamic of accumulation and disappearance of intermediates during the bacterial growth as well as accumulation in chloride ions had to be done. The later would be a solid prove for the total degradation of aromatic part of propyzamide.
