One color graphic costs ? 495, two cost ? 790, three cost ? 1185 and four cost ? 1580 (incl. VAT). For more than four figures, the cost must be calculated individually. Please be aware that, for technical reasons, printed colors might differ from those in the supplied photos/prints and/or files.
For the figures you do not want to have printed in color, please design black-and-white or grey-shade versions, making sure that the differences expressed using different colors are not lost through the removal of color. Comments to the Author
The proposed paper, entitled ??Effects of temperature and strain rate on the dynamic fracture properties of HTPB propellant??, concerns an interesting experimental study of engineering fracture mechanics of a HTPB/AP propellant. The experimental results are discussed and the presented influence of temperature is important. The physical expressions seems to me correct and they are useful for the understanding of results discussion.
However this impact fracture toughness depends of the filler particle size distribution and nature. The title do not mention that we are in presence of a HTPB/AP propellant and AP particle size distribution is not presented. There is only a short mention that ??the thickness of blade was 300 micra, comparable with the size of larger AP particles??. The size of Al particles is never mentioned. The particle size distributions must be presented.
Some detailed proposed corrections and suggestions:
1. The figures are clear. However the plot of Figure 7 a) does not present the temperature units.
2. The presented structure of the text is clear. But there are many small awkward constructions - many long sentences and the lack, or the wrong, use of commas (example: pag1, 2nd column: ??the fracture toughness in zones undergoing plastic deformation under plane stress conditions was approximately twice that in zones under plane strain conditions??). It is useful for the reader to have the first use of expressions before the abbreviations, when they appear in the text (example: page 3, 1st column, #2.3, line 5 ??The dynamic SIF?? must be written ??the dynamic stress intensity factor (SIF)??). Page 4, 2nd column, 5th line ??the AP particles decompose and the propellant becomes more brittle?? ?C the term ??decompose?? must be changed.
3. Bibliography is correct. However the reference 3 is repeated in reference 4; the title of journals is not written always with the same capitalized way; references 10 and 16 do not present all the authors (it is used ??et al.?? not acceptable for references author list).

修改稿提交需要在截止日期之前，提交时回复审稿人意见，把之前的提交文件全部去掉

注意作者名的格式：从上面的 Mr. long可以看出，你的名字估计写反了
Table of Contents里面的姓名需要缩写
彩图需要收费，如果不需要彩图，提供黑白的图片或灰阶的
超过六页的全文需要收版面费Page Charges

1.Figure 7 a)没有温度单位
2.有些语句有问题
3.reference 3和reference 4重复，期刊名不是一致大写，references 10 、16补上所有作者

谢谢哈。那个comments to the author中的第一段中关于AP颗粒尺寸和分布的意见，是说只要介绍一下还是必须要分析一下呀？这个录用的机会大吗？
