The phenomenon demonstrates the AIE nature of DMCS-TPA, which could be attributed to the restricted internal rota-tions and decreased solvent polarity effect when molecules precipitate. The comparatively larger ¦µf value of DMCS-TPA powder than that of BMBCP (42.35%) implies that the cruciform structure of DMCS-TPA effectively depresses strong ¦°¨C¦° inter-actions between the DCS axis thus diminishing emission quenching. |
