[交流] 西交利物浦化学系全奖博士机会

西交利物浦化学系
西浦是一个年青且具有活力的新大学，我们力争将她建成引领国内教学和科研的基地。我们提供国际化领先的教学经验。学生们在这儿既能体验西方宽阔的视野，又能坚持东方踏实的文化。我们西浦化学系目前有12名坚实专业背景、丰富国际科研和教学经验的师资队伍。已在有机合成、天然产物、高分子聚合物、能源材料、新药制备、计算模拟、分子识别与组装、纳米技术产业等领域开展了多项科研项目，获得了国家自然科学基金，江苏省自然科学基金和欧盟科研项目的资助，取得了一系列可喜的科研成果。

西浦化学系全奖博士机会
西浦化学系和英国利物浦大学合作，提供在西浦攻读博士，毕业后授予英国利物浦大学博士学位。在西浦读博的同学实则为英国利物浦大学注册博士学生。目前西浦化学系提供以下全额博士奖学金科研项目（免除3年英国利物浦大学博士学费，每年8万人民币，额外提供每月3500人民币生活费）有意向的同学可直接联系负责项目的导师，无需考博成绩，需雅思或者托福成绩, 成绩优秀的本科同学也可直接申请, 具体要求请点击项目链接。

Project Title Biomimetic synthetic studies of polycyclic diterpenoids from Coral
Requirements:
The candidate should have a first class or upper second class honours degree, or a
master’s degree (or equivalent qualification), in chemistry or a relevant discipline.
Background in synthetic organic chemistry and/or experience in natural product
synthesis would be advantageous.
Evidence of good spoken and written English is essential. The candidate should have
an IELTS score of 6.5 or above, or an equivalent qualification, if the first language is
not English. This position is open to all qualified candidates irrespective of nationality.
Degree:
The student will be awarded a PhD degree from the University of Liverpool (UK)
upon successful completion of the program and submission of a doctoral thesis.
Funding:
The PhD studentship is available for three years subject to satisfactory progress by
the student. The award covers tuition fees for three years (currently equivalent to
RMB 80,000 per annum) and provides a monthly stipend of 3500 RMB as a
contribution to living expenses. It also provides up to RMB 16,500 to allow
participation at international conferences during the period of the award. It is a
condition of the award that holders of XJTLU PhD scholarships carry out 300-500
hours of teaching assistance work per year. The scholarship holder is expected to
carry out the major part of his or her research at XJTLU in Suzhou, China. However,
he or she is eligible for a research study visit to the University of Liverpool of up to
three months, if this is required by the project.
