1. The quality control of chinese patent medicine(abbr. CPM) and traditional chinese medicine(abbr. TCM) mostly haven’t meeet the international approval due to its complicated consitutent, which has impeded modernization and internationalization of TCM. 2. samples’ authenticity or habitat can be identified effectively when some uncertain species (or habitat) TCM have been processed appropriately along with its characteristic of fingerprints. Meanwhile, according to its main peak area or proportional limtitation, sample’s quality will be controlled effectively, also we can assure relative stability of drug quality. Compared with testing one constituent of samples merely, this kind model of quality control i.e.multicomponent and multi-index wil obtain much more information, which will reflect species and amount of samples relatively comprehensibly. What’s more, it can embody the integrality and comprehensive utilization of component of TCM effectively, so as to evaluate the quality of TCM and its related preparations better. |

Quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis were a slight deficiency in analysis of target compound due to several factors i.e. component diversity and complication of TCM and limititation of conventional techniques itself. However, the technique of ultra-performance liquid chromatographic method with mass spectrometric (abbr. UPLC-MS) can not only to identify the basis peaks but also peform better on qualitative analysis of fingerprint area according to its higher selectivity and more sensitive test. |

4.Quality control is important content of modernization of TCM. It will be a long and difficult task to bulid reasonable and effective standard of quality control so as to ensure the security and long-term efficacy of medicine. Apparently, based on single index of component to control the quality of TMC, the current standard on indicating complicate quality information of TCM is inadequate. 所有翻译一次成型，希望楼主自己在斟酌，如有不妥，请完善改正。 |
