The commercially-pure titanium metal that encompasses the as-sintered LRM scaffold will be qualitatively assessed using light microscopy to characterize this material’s microstructure. Within this study an individual metallogrpaher will identify and report the predominant structure present within this singlephase material as well as the crystalline structure of the phase. That is, the expert will observe each metallographic sample at multiple sites, interpret the microstructure and report their impression. This gathered qualitative data will then be summarized and final conclusions shall be derived from the data. |
