| As sodium chromate can¡¯t dissolve in methyl alcohol, but easily in water, the author measures the solubility of sodium chromate dissolving in mixed solvents of methyl alcohol and water. Meanwhile, dissolution rates of sodium chromate in above solvents usually decrease with the increase of the concentration, and when it is near saturated, the rate is really very slow, and thus the time required for measuring is comparatively long. Therefore, for this shortcoming, the balance method is utilized for measuring the solubility of sodium chromate in this paper. |
