2.2. Diffusion experiments The diffusion experiments (Fig. 1) were carried out using acrylic diffusion columns, which have a cylindrical space of 20 mm in diameter and 20 mm in thickness. The bentonite powder, dried at 110 jC more than overnight, was transferred to the cylindrical space together with silica sand so as to obtain contents of 0,30 and 50 wt.%. The filling and compaction of the bentonite were performed using a hydraulic press (Sato et al., 1992). The atmosphere in the bentonite in the diffusion columns was evacuated then exchanged with N2 gas in a vacuum chamber, and then the columns were transferred to a controlled N2 atmosphere glove box.  22222.png |

2.2. 扩散实验 用丙烯酸类扩散柱进行扩散实验（图1），该扩散柱的柱体空间为：直径20mm，厚度20mm。膨润土粉末在110度干燥过夜以上，然后与硅砂一同转移到圆柱形空间内，并使其含量分别为0%,30%和50％（重量百分比）。使用油压机填充并压实膨润土（Sato et al.,1992）。将扩散柱内膨润土抽真空，然后将该扩散柱转移至一可控N2气体的手套箱中。 |
