Since part of the composition of bond coat consists of a nickel-based coating, therefore, this paper chooses pure Ni as the coating of the coating/substrate system. Pure iron (Fe) is selected as the substrate of the coating/substrate system because there is little difference of the coefficiency of thermal expansions (CTEs) between the elements iron and nickel. |
