Postdoc/RA Opportunities in NTU, Singapore 已有2人参与

Xtra Computing Group is a research group led by Dr. Bingsheng He in Parallel and Distributed Computing Centre, School of Computer Science, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. We focus on emerging topics in data management and HPC. Particularly, we work on High Performance Computing on Many-core Processors, Cloud Computing and Future Database Systems. Xtra's mission is to build faster, greener and cheaper computing systems. The group currently consists of over 10 members including Postdoc and Ph.D. students. We have a few (2-3) openings of Postdoc or Research Assistant (RA). Successful applications have the opportunities in working with the group on the following project: 1) big data management in the cloud, 2) real time data analytics with GPGPU and FPGA. More information about the group: http://pdcc.ntu.edu.sg/xtra/ More information about Bingsheng's research: http://www.ntu.edu.sg/home/bshe/ Requirements include: 1) A degree (PhD for Postdoc; Master or Bachelor for RA) in Computer Science, or a closely related field from a recognized institution, with excellent results. 2) Excellent system building skills. 3) Proficiency in English writing and good communication skills. 4) Strong commitment to high quality research and development. Preferable Qualification 1) Previous research experience in systems (e.g., GPGPU and cloud), and solid background on computer systems and architectures. 2) Strong track publication record for Postdoc position 3) Self-motivated. For Postdoc/RA positions, the appointment can commence any time and will be initially for one year, with possibility for extension up to three years. Successful candidates will be offered a competitive salary and benefits based on their qualifications.
