Postdoc position available in U Alberta 加拿大Alberta大学 ECE系 Dr. Zubin Jacob 想招一名Postdoct,研究方向是Optical Hyperlens 老板是印度人，但是说话基本没什么口音，善于社交，非常聪明，非常helpful，刚刚评 上副教授，貌似是UA最年轻的教授吧。组里风气是比较自由的，学术氛围比较浓厚，有 来自印度中国和加拿大本地的总共9名学生。主页：www.ece.ualberta.ca/~zjacob 欢迎 发邮件咨询 具体信息如下： Project: Optical Hyperlens Heralded as the “Optical Nanoscope”, could help make transformative impact on imaging The post doctoral fellow will be responsible to lead the project with considerable responsibilities and opportunity to travel/interact with leading scientists around the world Candidates welcome from various backgrounds including Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science and Electrical Engineering Prior expertise in any one of the topics is useful but not necessary: super-resolution imaging, fluorescence microscopy, plasmonics, metamaterials, computational EM, quantum optics, condensed matter physics 学校和地理位置介绍： University of Alberta About U of A The ECE department at the University of Alberta is well known for being among the best graduate programs in Canada. With over 60 faculty members in various subdisciplines, it has been traditionally reputed especially for its Engineering Physics subdivision. U of A also boasts of the best NanoFab center in Canada with state of the art facilities for nanofabrication and also the National Institute of NanoTechnology (NINT), a government sponsored nanotech research lab. Living in Edmonton U of A is situated in the heart of Edmonton, the capital of Alberta, a beautiful multicultural city where students from diverse backgrounds can feel at home. The city has the longest stretch of urban parkland in North America making it an ideal place for urban living as well as relaxation and adventure.
