第一次投外文期刊，不到半天就回复了。怎么理解这段话？ 已有2人参与

I write you in regards to manuscript # GRSL-00782-2014 entitled "Thermal environment of urban space research based on HJ-1B satellite - Case of Wuhan City" which you submitted to the Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters. The use of the English language needs a thorough revision. Such revision should be performed by a native English speaker with good technical knowledge of the field (checking spelling and grammar is not enough), or by a specialized firm. The manuscript has many problems which preclude further revision. Although overall readable, many small mistakes render a text which is imprecise or hard to read. Minor problems as, for instance, missing/excessive definite/indefinite articles, choices of singular/plural nouns etc. make it hard to read, failing to convey the intended meaning. Also, a careful check and adjustment to the Journal format is mandatory. Fonts, references, tables and figures captions, capitalization, numbering etc. must follow the Journal guidelines. Punctuation, especially after displayed equations, must be verified. If the authors choose to submit a new version, it must be accompanied by the number of the current submission and proofs that such revision was performed as required. In light of the appropriateness of your manuscript for our journal, your manuscript has been denied publication in the Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters. Thank you for considering the Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters for the publication of your research. I hope the outcome of this specific submission will not discourage you from the submission of future manuscripts. 修改后投有戏吗？ |
