So far, there are few references about theoretical calculation of drop vibration. A single vibrating drop in oil was regarded as a study object under high pulse electric field, and its dynamic model was built. By solving the model, drop vibration amplitude first approximate solution and its amplitude-frequency characteristic relation were obtained. Results of example calc and tests showed that the non-linear method of vibration calculation is reasonable and it can be used to predict drop's resonance frequency and amplitude. The study results were helpful to making highly efficient electro- dehydration machines.
