复合材料相组成分析表明,在复合材料制备过程中,界面发生轻微的化学反应,生成高强硬质的Mg2Si相,通过SEM分析、布氏硬度、透射分析、拉伸力学性能测试方式,探究碳化硅颗粒对复合材料的显微组织及微观性能的影响,结果表明,同AZ91相比,SiC颗粒增强AZ91复合材料硬度提升了约16.4%,SiC/AZ91D镁合金具有较好的力学性能,材料硬度的提高,主要是由于碳化硅颗粒与基体合金AZ91进行载荷分配,作为第二相的碳化硅颗粒促使了位错强化,使材料的硬度得到显著提高。

Composite phase composition analysis shows that in the process of preparing composite materials, interface in slight chemical reaction, generate high toughness Mg2Si phase, by SEM analysis, brinell hardness, tem analysis, tensile mechanical properties test, silicon carbide particles on the microstructure of the composite and the influence of microcosmic performance, the results show that compared with AZ91, SiC particle reinforced AZ91 composite hardness increased by about 16.4%, SiC/AZ91D magnesium alloys have good mechanical properties, material hardness increases, the AZ91 alloy is mainly due to the silicon carbide particles and matrix to carry on the load distribution, as the second phase of silicon carbide particles prompted the dislocation strengthening, the hardness of materials are improved significantly.

To explore the effect of silicon carbide particles on  the composite’s microstructure and  its microstructural  properties, ways of SEM analysis, Brinell Hardness and transmission analysis and tensile mechanical properties test are used, and the result indicates that SiC particles have enhanced the hardness of AZ91 composite nearly 16.4%, and the SiC/AZ91D magnesium alloy acquires better mechanical properties.
The improvement of the hardness is mainly due to the load distribution of AZ91 base matrix with the help of silicon carbide particles. As the second phase, silicon carbide particles help AZ91 with dislocations strengthening, which in turn highly improves the hardness of the composite.
