Senior Research Engineer / Research Engineer (Ref. CML017)
Duties
The appointee will conduct laboratory works of nanomaterials-polymer composite materials for the applications of battery or solid state lighting.
Requirements
A PhD degree in chemistry, material science, chemical engineering, electronics, or physics with experience in any of the following R&D areas:
a.    Synthesis of nanomaterials;
b.    Polymer composite materials;
c.    Thermal interface material;
d.    Positive Temperature Coefficient materials;
e.    Lithium ion batteries (electrode materials development, package, or whole system design);
f.    Electronic device design and integration.
Others: Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, ability of literature and patent review are needed.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Medical and dental benefits as well as annual leave will be provided. Appointment will be offered on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to mutual agreement and performance.
