The results showed that the catalyzing effect of immobilized Mb was the highest for o-phenylenediamine (352.1%), phenol (138.7%), o-methoxyphenol (96.7%), o-aminophenol (94.6%), p-aminophenol (72.6%), aniline (60.4%), p-methoxyphenol (35.1%), respectively, when the effect of catalyzing for free Mb was determined as 100%. Based on the kinetic analysis, the enhancement of catalytic activity under o-phenylenediamine was about 5 and 8 times increases in V-max and k(cat) values for the immobilized Mb, respectively, compared to that of free Mb.
