call for PhD, Melbourne University 墨尔本大学计算机系招2014年底入学PHD 有奖学金

Call for PhD applications, University of Melbourne Full Scholarships are available for PhD students enroll in the department of Computing and Information in the University of Melbourne, which is the top University in Australia (ranking top 20 by THES and top 60 by SJTU world wide). Melbourne is voted as the most livable city around the world continuously for several years and Australia has a strong economy. Successful students will start in the end of 2014 or beginning of 2015. The students will perform research in hot areas in big data management and data mining such as spatio-temporal data management, social networks, cloud computing, etc. Students with good math or algorithm background are preferred. PhD in the University of Melbourne usually takes 3.5-4 years. The scholarship is about AU$2000/month. The average living cost in Melbourne is 800/month. English test is required before admission, either TOEFL or IETLS.
