The dispersity of the particles in the dispersant of tetrachloroethylene before and after modification was investigated. TEM characterization shows that particles in tetrachloroethylene before modification are severely aggregated and have large sizes with a relatively wide size distribution. Whereas, the modified particles shows less aggregates and are uniformly dispersed with samll sizes. This demonstrates that the partiles after modification have better dispersity in tetrachloroethylene than before modification.
