去年七月在ASME Journal of Vibration and Acoustics 投了一篇论文，五个月时候催稿没反应，最近犹豫中又写了催稿信问他有几个审稿人返回意见了，编辑也没正面回答，回复说 "Yes the review process has been long. I will try to wrap it up in a couple of days." 他也知道时间太久了，但是4个couple days过去了，论文状态仍然没有变化。效率太低了。这是又去催审稿人了吗？现在也不敢再问了，只有继续等。。ASME这期刊一年就投三四百篇，二三十个副编辑，竟然还这么慢。。
