[求助] 碱性溶液中Pt电极作为对电极使用的问题求助

如题,审稿人提出了下面的审稿意见,头一次碰到这个问题,有经验的虫友帮忙看看~
The second point is that the Pt counter should be avoided especially when it can greatly contribute to your HER activity when it redeposits onto your anode.
This is the concern, not that the corrosion current from the counter could contribute.
Some people mistakenly use Pt counters (this is correct for instance if your working electrode is Pt, but again only under some circumstances).
Au is a much better choice, even though it also dissolves but it won't benefit the HER activity.
It is my feeling that the Ni foam cycling data shows that there is activation that occurs even on the Ni with cycling,
and that is most likely either from the Pt counter, or more likely from the transition metal impurities.
To strengthen the case for your process you need to somehow show that this is not the case.
And in the future, do not use Pt counters in alkaline solution, do a better job of cleaning the KOH.
审稿人的大体意思是碱性溶液中测试的时候,不宜使用Pt电极做对电极,因为Pt会在碱性溶液中溶解,重新沉积在电极表面,这会影响析氢电流的测试。并推荐使用Au电极,Au电极即使会溶解,也不会影响析氢电流的测试。
针对这个问题,我应该如何做出回应比较好呢?

时间有点久了哈,我记得应该是做了Au的对比试验,说明影响不大就好了哈
