题目： As people rely more and more on technology to solve problems, the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate.

Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.

With the development of society, it is a undeniable fact that we rely more and more on technologies, that is, we now can not live without technologies such as vehicles, electricity, mobile phone and so on. Consider this from a modern perspective, we have already get used to the convenience that technologies provide. How can people image/imagine living without electricity and modern conveniences? And how can we envision the life without transportation in this booming society?This kind of feeling just like lost something important. So the statement is partly reasonable that we are more and more rely on technologies to solve different kinds of problems in our daily life.

However, the statement may be somewhat negative to the use of technology. Laking of confidence to the people around. To draw a conclusion, it all depends on what views you hold and what is your standpoint, therefore, it is naturally to draw tendentious/biased conclusions because of a uncomprehensive understanding/overview. There are many historical examples. Aristotle, a great philosopher of ancient Greece, whose impact was great thus latter scientists regard him as the authority. He put up the theory that the heavier things fall faster than the light things. This theory was not challenged until the famous Galileo's experiment which corrected false beliefs thus refined our understanding towards gravity. Many other things are no different, reminding us to acquire a more comprehensive understanding.

So from a more objective/impartial perspective to explain this phenomenon, technology actually does not deteriorate the ability of humans to think for themselves. Following are two opinions to support. In each period of development, people have their own way to adapt their life, we can not say that our abilities are decreasing because we are no more like in the past that every thing may need to be arranged by ourselves. Now we face new problems in new era that are brought by new demands. The invention of vehicle frees us from tried work and short the distance between person to person, whereas this not mean our ability are deteriorated, we need to learn the technologies how to produce and maintain a car, how to handle it, and learning the complex traffic rules. As a result, with the more using of technologies, we are facing more new problems produced by these technics.

Technologies precipitate the speed of social development, as long as we are proceeding, we will face more problems needed to be solved. This progress is more likely construction, a upper layer is lied upon the lower layer, different problems will emerge. Hence we own more spare time to solve more difficult problems, and enter into a advanced society.
