研究表明:熔体在滑移段的平均停留时间与材料松弛时间之比与挤出胀大比之间存在指数衰减关系,其数学关系可用方程(A≈0.2~0.8)表示,其实质是熔体在滑移段处于形变衰减过程。理论分析与数值模拟具有高度的一致性合理性,可用于指导气辅口模设计。


From the simulation, an equation about the die swell ratio was proposed which can be successfully applied to the design of GAE die, relating the average residence time of melt in slip part and relaxation time. Certain constants arising from the equation were shown to be interrelated or correlated with deformation factor for purely-viscous component. The validity of the equation and the possibility of more general application can be used in die design of GAE.

According to the research ,the residence time of melt in its slipping section has a relation of exponential decay  with its  relaxation time ratio and extrusion swell  ratio.Its mathematical relation  can be expressed by  this equation  B=1+Ae-t/r(A≈0.2~0.8).In fact ,melt in the slipping section is in the process of deformation decay.Theoretical analysis and numerical simulation match  well,so the equation can be used as a  guidence in the design of gas-assisted dies
