The results revealed that A-Mo inhibitor was capable of inhibiting the corrosion of carbon steel in 55%LiBr solution, exhibiting high inhibition efficiencies around 99.7%. A-Mo inhibitor promoted the formation of a protective passive film composed of Fe, Mo and O elements.
