摘要
A well-known theorem of Mathieu's states that a Harish-Chandra module over the Virasoro algebra is either a highest weight module, a lowest weight module or a module of the intermediate series. It is proved in this paper that an analogous result also holds for the Lie algebra B related to Block type, with basis {L-alpha,L-i, C vertical bar alpha, i is an element of Z, i >= 0} and relations [L-alpha,L-i, L-beta,L-j = ((i + 1)beta - (j + 1)alpha)L-alpha+beta,L-i+j + delta(alpha+beta,0)delta(i+j,0)alpha(3)-alpha/12 C. Namely, an irreducible quasifinite B-module is either a highest weight module, a lowest weight module or a module of the intermediate series. (C) 2013 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
